Margaret

8 Aug

Margaret is an independent drama about a teenage girl named Lisa who witnesses a woman get hit by a bus due to her flirtation with the bus driver. The rippling effect of that one incident is what the remainder of the movie is about. Indie films typically like to show raw emotions and push the envelope and Margaret lives up to those expectations. Yet I found myself annoyed with the adults in the movie. The adults in the movie were so self absorbed that Lisa was left to make adult decisions without any adult support. I have mixed feelings about this movie. I can’t say that I hate the movie but nor can I say I loved the movie either.  I would love to hear your thoughts of the movie. Leave a comment so we can chat about Margaret.

You can find Margaret at Redbox or Blockbuster Express. Check out the trailer to see if it is worth the drive.
