I love when I discover movies on Netflix that are just PERFECT for me. The movie “The Letter Writer” came right on time in my life. The movie starts off with you meeting Maggie who receives an encouraging letter from Sam. Those words of encouragement become pivotal in Maggie’s life. The adventure between Maggie and Sam is heartwarming and reminds us to follow our dreams. I don’t want to ruin the movie by over analyzing it but please know you will be touched by the story. If you cry easily in the movie then make sure you have a box of tissue next to you.
I would also encourage you to check out “More Love Letters” which is an organization that actually puts into practice what Sam and Maggie did. They just completed a 12 days of Letters for 12 people who really need to feel love this holiday season. I love that your creative letter or card could brighten someone else day and make them feel connected to the world. Who doesn’t want to feel love like that?
